Bridal Fashion Week SS23 Review

Immediate standouts of Bridal Fashion Week SS23 include Rosie Assoulin, Francesca Miranda, and Naeem Khan. Honorable mention to Reem Acra (and not because I wore her on my own wedding day). Scroll below for reviews and selects.

Rosie Assoulin was such a delight in her debut bridal collection. A native New Yorker who I have been a fan of for years, she came onto the scene in 2014 with her resort collection. She then won the CFDA womenswear award in 2015 which really catapulted her career. Her designs are bright, bold, and feminine. Her bridal collection really blew me away and I am dying for a client to choose one of these looks. Fashion forward and original, it was so hard to narrow down the looks to feature here, but selections below.

Francesca Miranda is a Latin American designer who recently launched The Gloria Co, an online retailer for brides to shop for looks, build a registry, and get wedding inspiration from their blog. It’s like the Latin American version of Over The Moon. I am always in love with her bridal designs as they are modern and original.

Naeem Khan is an industry powerhouse at this point. I don’t always love his collections as sometimes they are a bit too much and out there. This collection however, is one 10/10 after another. He combines a couple of trends in one look, which I think will sell really well. For example there are floral appliques with ribbon bows, 60’s fringe dress with cutouts for an after party look, etc.

And lastly, some Reem Acra, just because I can’t help myself and she gets it right every time.
