Thanksgiving Entertaining and Registry

This year my husband John and I will be staying on the West Coast for Thanksgiving with our brand new black lab puppy Lemon. She is the sweetest thing, but quite the handful as all lab puppies are. Since it will just be the three of us, I am feeling more inspired than usual to make a beautiful table and make the day feel special. Last year, since it was a the height of COVID, we also stayed put and got a 16lb turkey for three people. In my defense, it was the only thing left at the grocery store. Nonetheless, there we were with an XL turkey, over 5 lbs per person. I think we probably get a similar size bird this year because first of all why not, and second of all, leftovers.

I have been searching for some fun tablescape ideas, and thought I would share my findings. Note that all of these would also be great for your registry!

Juliska- Juliska is my go to for registry gifts. They have a whole line of Thanksgiving dinnerware if you want to go big with this. Plates, bowls, coupes, napkins, platters, and even mugs.

The Sette- The cutest bud vases with colored glass that are pretty affordable. I love bud vases because they are a low lift and don’t take much to get a big impact. Sometimes I think bud vases can be chicer than a big grocery store bought vase that’s mish moshed together. They also have the cutest linens (not as affordable) in gingham and in fun images or geese, roosters and olives.

Estelle- The crown jewel of colored glassware. I’m sure you guys have seen this EVERYWHERE these days. One of my bridesmaids got us these champagne coups in blue. I am such a sucker for coups. I don’t think you get as much champagne in the glass, but you feel so much more sophisticated while sipping. These are a great pop of color on a table and conversation piece. They have wine glasses, coups, martini glasses, cake stands, and more, in so many different colors.

Issy Granger- The queen of candles and candlesticks. I just love the idea of statement candlesticks. Like the bud vases, these can be such a low lift and make such a difference on a table. I love the green or the yellow for Thanksgiving, and you can use them again for other holidays. These are all individually handmade without a mold from artisans in around the world, though Issy herself is based in London. They feel really special and besoke.
